About Department
The ISE department started in the year 2000 with an intake of 60, is committed for creating a community of students and faculty that reflects the diversity of the world we live in, contributing to educational excellence and a dynamic campus environment. Our goal is not only to teach students, how to use current computer applications, but rather to educate them so that they understand how these applications work and can design and build the computer applications of the future. The syllabus encompasses a broad and complete curriculum that covers the "big ideas" of Information science from hardware to software and from theory to application.
With highly qualified, trained and dedicated teachers who are responsible for the overall academic growth, the department excels in the teaching-learning methodology and has a good academic track record. The learning experience here is wholesome and tailored to suit needs of the industry and independent career development. Students are encouraged to participate in state and National level competitions covering academic, sports and cultural activities.
This course is equivalent to two bachelor degrees namely Computer Science and Engineering & Information Technology.
HOD Message
Every Student has hidden traits and in most of the cases, it will be in a dormant state. It is the responsibility of the department to create an atmosphere wherein the students realize their potential and exploit it to achieve excellence. It is here that we provide opportunities to develop technical skills and help students to achieve the desired level of competencies, apart from their scholastic achievements and add new dimensions of substantive impact on their future career”.
Every effort at this center of learning is directed at bringing out the best from its students and moulds them into professionals with the ability to compete at global level.
Our constant endeavor is to train students to be optimistic and face any challenges that confront them successfully. The ISE course provided at RYMEC attempt to groom tomorrows Engineers to forge ahead in a highly competitive world.

At RYMEC, Placement time is not a mere annual ritual; it is a time for showcasing the very best in our young engineers to the industrial world. The Placement & Training Cell functions with the primary aim of placing students in top-notch companies even before they have completed their courses. The Placement & Training cell goes all out to train the students to meet the high industry expectations.
The Training and Placement Cell imparts training to students by giving emphasis on general aptitude, motivational skills, communication skills, interpersonal relationships, leadership qualities, group discussions and interview techniques. Resource persons and professionals from reputed organizations along with college faculties train the students. The Training and Placement Cell also helps the weak students to improve their academic performance by counseling. The Training and Placement Cell provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews besides catering to other logistics. . The database of the students is managed by the cell, which plays a critical role in getting jobs to the students.
