LEaders Accelerating Development
The LEaders Accelerating Development (LEAD) Program of Deshpande Foundation, Hubballi, Karnataka fosters innovative and entrepreneurial thinking within college students by exposing them to social issues and by encouraging them to volunteer their time and effort into the community. LEAD ignites their latent talent to come up with creative solutions. LEAD is an incubator where innovation meets implementation, knowledge meets experience, social issues meet solutions and efforts meet impact.

LEAD 2016-17
RYMEC students are highly potential and enthusiastic. In order to give the 360 degrees personality development and to inculcate the blend of humanism and entrepreneurial skills with sound technical knowledge.RYMECcoloborated with DESPANDAE FOUNDATION’s LEAD(Leaders accelerating development) in the year 2017 .The workshop was conducted by LEAD for the first time in 2017,for both first and second year students,for a strength of 200 students.
The LEAD Program of the Deshpande Foundation fosters innovative and entrepreneurial thinking within college students by exposing them to social issues, encouraging them to volunteer their time and effort into the community, and igniting their latent talent to come up with creative solutions. Through the unique platform provided by LEAD, started in 2008 from one college and today it has reached 28,276 students, 5,567 LEADers, 8,360 leadership projects, and 210 colleges from Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh implementing bold solutions to big problems in their communities.
