The MCA Department started in the year 1999 under the umbrella of RYM Engineering college .And the course is affiliated to VTU, Belagavi, the premier technological university of Karnataka and it is AICTE Recognized course has well equipped laboratories with state-of-art facilities and well experienced and competent faculty members with diverse specialization in their master degrees. The department has been continuously imparting standard and quality service to the students for the past 19 years with intake of 40, in the year 2008-09 there was increase intake from 40 to 60.The department has been inculcating moral values in addition to the curricular and co-curricular activities Department has organized a national level IT-Fest, conducted one FDP for four days on LATEX Sponsored by VTU& Seminars.
